Weird month

My June cycle I was most fertile on the 23rd, myself and husband had sex on the 21st, my period was due on the 8th July they came bang on time, but it wasn't like any other period. Light pink spotting on and off and then more brown spotting and felt more watery and very mild cramps, could there be a chance it was implantation bleeding or just a light period?
