My sister stole my baby name!!! Ever since I was little (really young) I have loved the name Evangeline. I had a miscarriage in March, I was far enough along to know the sex and decided to name her Evangeline. My sister knows this and decided to name her child Evangeline Faye-Leigh. Is she selfish, and do I have a right to be mad?

It depends on why she did it. Maybe she did it to honor your lost baby or something sweet. Maybe talk to her?

I'd be pisses BUT I'd still name my kid what I wanted. It's your kid and your life, definitely don't switch names or anything. If people ask, just explain that you picked that name when you were little and it's stuck ever since.

Use the name anyways just use a different middle name. My SIL was done after her second child so I told her names I like and she got pregnant again and used my boy name I told my husband we will still use it just spell it different
