Anyone else have RH factor related MC?

We lost our first pregnancy at 5weeks on June 11th. The doctors said it could have been because I have a negative RH factor and my husband is positive. 
From what I have read, this usually complicates things for the second baby, so I wanted to see if anyone here in the community experienced the same thing we did. Thanks!

I had the same thing when I miscarried at 7 weeks on June 15th. Also got the shot and was told I would need it for each future pregnancy. They will give it to you if you have any spotting Ina future pregnancy. If you have no bleeding they give it to you at 28 weeks because it lasts 12 weeks and they anticipate you giving birth at some point between 28-40 weeks.

I had a d&e last week for a missed miscarriage at 10 weeks. It was my first. Because I am RH negative, they have me a shot that is meant to protect a future pregnancy from being "attacked" by any RH positive blood from this pregnancy.

I don't know what my husband's blood type is, but they made it sound as if this shot is standard procedure of you are RH negative. You would also get the shot upon giving birth.

Did your doctors talk to you about a shot to protect against future losses?
