Does your placenta move (placenta previa)?

Does the placenta move after it forms? At my 8w ultrasound the tech said my placenta was forming below the baby (the bottom of the uterus) does this mean there's a good chance of me having placenta previa?

I was diagnosed with placenta previa at 20 weeks & it resolved itself by 28 weeks. Usually not a problem unless it's still like that later in your pregnancy.

They told me I had partial previa with my first baby at about 18 weeks. As I grew the placenta moved up and everything was just fine. Good luck!

I wasn't told til I was 14 weeks that I had placenta preva, doc said it usually moves on its own as the pregnancy progresses
