I need advice ASAP!!
So I've been experiencing some odd symptoms recently and I don't know what to do about it. Since Sunday (today's Thursday) my vagina has been really itchy around the clitoral hood, inner lips, and vaginal opening. Since Tuesday, urinating became mildly painful (it burns a little), but that might be because I just can't leave it alone when it itches and I may have caused more irritation. Yesterday I noticed yellow discharge and today I noticed the discharge was getting a bit thicker in texture. I searched around online and there are usually multiple options for what it could be, including something that will "clear up on its own", but the most likely option seems to be a yeast infection. I don't want to self diagnose, but that's my only option right now. The treatment for a yeast infection is apparently anti fungal medication. But I don't want to talk to the people I live with about it (for a variety of reasons) and I'm on their insurance and I don't know how to schedule my own doctor appointment anyway (I'm 17, I've never done that before). Even if I could, it'd be my general practitioner. I don't have any sort of lady doctor. So I guess I need to know 1) what the frick frack is going on with my vagina, 2) if I need a doctor/lady doctor for it, and 3) if I do need a doctor, how do I get a doctor's appointment without talking to the fam and without it showing up on insurance.
Possibly relevant information:
- I am sexually active, although the last time I had intercourse was during the summer of 2015. Within the past few weeks there's been around 3-5 occasions where my boyfriend used his fingers/tongue, the most recent being last Thursday (July 7th). It's doubtful that he would have any STDs or STIs though since he has never done this with anyone but me.
Also if you have any home remedies that might work that would be VERY helpful and convenient.
