Skin to skin?

EBF my 5 week old. Since week 2, I haven't really done skin to skin. She's mostly dressed because air conditioning is on especially at night. Is anyone still doing skin to skin? Am I supposed to undress her every feeding ?

I would say you should try at least once a day. Its great for bonding and milk supply if you are nursing. My baby girl gets a lot of skin to skin because our apartment gets so hot she's usually only in diaper. But it really helped when I had a bad cold and my milk supply dropped. I only did skin to skin every feeding and my supply went right back up.

You could try co bathing. It's wonderful :)

I tend to keep my 3 week old clothed now too but I'll try to occasionally snuggle skin to skin just because I love it. They are only this little and non-squirmy for such a short time!!!

I do every morning and it's the highlight of my day!

I do each morning because I undress her to sit by an open window for any remaining jaundice. After a big poop I dress her again!
