Glass or plastic?

Question

Will/do/did you use glass or plastic bottles for Baby? Why? What brand did you use?
I'm posting on CC because this can be a controversial subject because glass is clearly better for you and the enviornment but plastic is considerably more convenient.

I use glass !! Never even considered plastic. It's safer more sterile and better for the environment. 
I have butter fingers and have dropped them so many times but still haven't broken any . 
Also when baby number two comes I don't have to replace them like I would if I had plastic bottles since those tend to stain and get ugly .

I have to use doctor brown bottles for my LO so plastic it is.. I tried glass and he just got too much air with them.

If using plastic just choose bpa free bottles!

I breastfed, but also worked so I had to use bottles as well. I wanted to use glass but chose plastic mostly just because of the risk of breaking the glass. You can just throw a couple of bottle in your baby bag and head out whth plastic. This reason may however be a personal reason as I am not graceful and regularly drop stuff.

I bought glass (Avent) and silicone (Comotomo) bottles. My partner and I don't use plastic, if we can help it, so it only made sense that our child didn't use plastic either.

We use Dr. Brown's glass bottles, but I'm not a huge fan of them (which is a big reason why I asked). The nipples are too long and keep making Babe swallow too much air and it also makes him regularly choke on the milk.  Also, so far I've only found 5oz bottles which is fine for now while Babe is little, but pretty soon we're going to need bigger bottles.
In hoping to find bigger glass bottles with shorter nipples. I have heard good things about the life-something bottles. I can't remember the full name. You can buy them at whole foods and they have the rubber protection on the outside so they're less likely to break.

We were going to do glass or stainless because we don't have plastic in the house as a general rule  (we're kind of crunchy I guess?)  but a friend gave me a ton of her bottles and it seems more green to use them than to buy new. Still torn, haven't decided yet. I'm planning to breastfeed to start so hopefully that will buy us some time to decide.

Glass until their old enough to hold their own bottles, then plastic. It's a waste of money to spend on bottles your kid is just going to throw/drop the glass bottles and break them.

I did both. I did glass til about 6 months then switched to plastic because she started throwing them lol I used Avent for both. I used the glass because its easier to sterilize and all that good stuff. I also used Evenflo glad bottles but she didn't like them as much as Avent
