Sex During IVF?? Is it okay?

So this may be tmi but my partner is umm very large. Do you think it would be a bad idea to have sex after our embryo transfer? The embryo transfer is July 31st and he's coming home on Aug 2nd. He's been away for 6 months for a business trip so emotionally you know what that'll be!

My doctor told me no sex and no orgasm until heartbeat is detected. You don't want your uterus to contract, so try to stay away from your husband 😄 at my last IVF my husband wouldn't even touch me not to get me horny 😄 good luck and sticky vibes! I have my FET on July 19 😁

I was told not to put anything in my vagina during the TwW.  So that includes my husband.

At my clinic, and most from what I've heard, they told us no sex until the positive beta. Kinda a resting pelvic idea so that it can implant really good. They don't want the uterus spasm or anything like that.

Hmm maybe it's because in Europe docters use a different protocol but I think they have never told me we cannot have sex during the tww. Anyhow, I was sore for over two weeks after my retrieval anyway so wouldn't even think about sex 😂
