Fibroids?

Any other ladies pregnant and have fibroids?

Yes, I'm 38 weeks with quite a few. The largest is about 20cm (size of a small melon!) the others are about the size of golf balls and one is slightly larger. I hate them, hopefully planning on having surgery to remove them sometime after I deliver. Doctor doesn't seemed too concerned, says they shouldn't interfere with delivery.

Have you had pain that you have to medicate?

I have four rather large fibroids and lots of smaller ones. One of them they told me was around the size of a baseball. I am only five weeks + 4 so I'm very curious how these will affect my pregnancy pain wise.

I am 31 weeks right now...  During an early ultrasound, I found out that I have a 9 cm intrauterine one.  At 27 week ultrasound they found a small second one.  No bleeding or pain from them.  Fortunately the large one has tucked itself into a corner and the baby hasn't started kicking if yet.  I have extra ultrasounds to monitor it and any restricted fetal growth.
