7 week old awake time?

Mine makes it about an hour at a time and then gets really fussy and hard to get to nap. Is that normal? What about in the evening right before bedtime? I'm having a hard time getting my LO to sleep

I really try to follow this chart... My little one is 2 months and if he is up more then an hour he fights sleep so bad and is fussy. I'm not always successful, but we try to stick to it!

You could try paying attention to their cues closer. Eye rubbing, yawning, staring off in the distance, etc. are all early signs that they are tired and if you wait until they're fussy it's usually too late and they'll fight sleep. If that doesn't help it also might be a "leap". The Wonder Weeks book is really helpful in predicting fussy periods and understanding why.

I put my 9 week old down after 50 minutes of waketime. If I wait much longer, he gets super fussy and then nap time is ruined.

At bed time, usually about 9,I feed him one last time.this varies depending on what time the previous feeding was though. I bring him into his room with lights off except a night light and sound machine. I rock him with his Binky,this usually gets him to sleep pretty fast. Then I swaddle and put into his crib:) this has been our routine for about 3 weeks. But usually an hour is all he stays awake comfortably during the day.
