My birth story of serenity
So I know that I'm a week late but just been a long week. So I was due the 7th of july for my little one to be born. I had asked the doctors for weeks for an induction. It just felt right to me for some reason. I also had been having contractions for two weeks but because i wasnt dialated and they were irregular I couldn't do anything about it. So it's july 1st and my doctor walks in and says I have your induction scheduled and said to be at doctors office on Tuesday the 5th to see if I'm dialated. I had been in hospital previously for contraction issues and less movement. So I go in on Tuesday and I'm at 1.5 so she says go in at 9 pm so we head home knowing she'll be here today or tomorrow. So we head to hospital get checked in and start the medicine to dialate me but instead of it dialating me i had constant contractions at 1 min apart but I still wasn't dialated so I get more after a while still nothing so I get to a two about two hours later and my doctor says let's start pitocin. So we start that about an hour later my pain went from a 5 to a 9 and doctor checked me I was at a 4 . So she decided she was going to break my water. Well it hurt too much so I got my epi. And about your later she broke my water it was clear. But I kept hurting so they have me more pain neds. So I went to sleep. When i woke up they immediately put me on oxygen and had me pushing baby's heart rate dropped and so did mine. They were a min from having a cesearen. But doc got baby out with cord around neck. Everything was great after i got sent home. Saturday I started hurting alot so I go to bathroom I passed a clot as big as a baseball and two pounds er doc says that's normal I gggo on Monday and schedule me for ultrasound turns out my whole uterus was full of debri and clots i have to get a dnc. Go in on Tuesday and turns out I had a pieceof placenta left over and clots when she cleaned me out I bled so much I had to have a blood transfusion after. I could have died but I'm healthy and at home now with my two children. Sorry it was so long.
