So I'm 27+2 with my second child. When my first was 6 months old, I had my gall bladder out due to a stone blocking the outlet and causing me extreme pain. That was two months before I got pregnant this time. Now I'm noticing that I'm having pain under my right rib that's worse when I press. It's almost like I'm aware of my liver. I don't have high blood pressure or protein in my urine, so it's not a sign of preeclampsia. I'm wondering if this is due to the surgery that wasn't that long ago, or if it could be cholestasis of pregnancy. I was reading that you could still get it even without a gallbladder. Anyone have experience with this or any advice? I'm going to call my OB, but she and I are both on vacation right now so just trying to see if anyone has been through this before.
