In the past is my mom hated someone I dated, she still tolerated him. And it turns out that she always had a point...I should have listened to her from the beginning. I really do think mothers know best! Or at least my mother.

They have argued and she's extremely controlling of me and my 2 year old. I just want to be an adult and it's to the point I don't even know my bank PIN number. I love her I do, but I feel like he's helped me grow and accept responsibility in a way. He's also like a dad figure to my daughter. So it's hard honestly.

Sounds like she's trying to protect you  and your daughter from getting hurt, but preventing you from finding live in the process...talk to her about how you feel ready to take on more responsibility and appreciate all she's done you you and your little girl.  She may just loosen her grip a bit, a maybe even tell you your PIN number.
