Cloth Diapering?

Question

If you have done cloth diapers before could you please give me some pros and cons of it and what your experience is like I'm thinking of doing it for this baby and want to see what everyone's opinions are thank you

My older brother used cloth diapers so just my experience from babysitting my niece and nephew - cloth diapers are disgusting!  They stink as soon as they get wet - you can't bleach them.  If you leave the house you have to bring plastic bags so that you can carry the dirty diapers home.
You will need bigger clothes because the diapers are super bulky.
For me - it's totally not worth it!  I will be using disposable!

We do both.  I love my cloth diapers!  So easy to be honest.  Worth it for what you save.  Not only that, it is better for the environment.  We do disposable when we go out and at night.  I don't find much of an issue with bulk and I find that disposables stink.  I can't smell the cloth when they are wet.  I use Best Bottoms with both liners and prefolds.

I love cloth diapering. I haven't had any issues with stinky diapers, repelling, or leaking. I also have had zero issues with clothing other than traditional baby leggings. So I buy baby harem pants, leg warmers, or knee high socks for her. There are also companies that make cloth diaper specific clothing.

Cloth diapering is beyond easy. I absolutely love it! When we go out, all we bring is a wet bag to keep the dirty diapers in. We use a dry pail at home! It's super simple.

We have been looking at deals on line and were very fortunate to get about 15 as hand me downs....over all if I don't get more (I'm sure I will they are soo [o cute I cant help it) we will be able to diaper baby from NB to potty for $200 and if we have a second they can be used again or sold for almost what we spent.  Financially well worth it.

You can bleach if need be and they don't stink any more then disposables.

There are alot of options knowing someone who does it will be very helpful and do research.
