I had my healthy baby boy yesterday July 14th 2016

I had my healthy baby boy yesterday July 14th 2016. I was 39 weeks and 1 Day. I went in for a induction after being 3 centimeters for over a week. We got to the hospital at 5 am they started the oxytocin at 6:30 am. I dilated very rapidly. The contractions were very painful. They were coming every minute and lasted about a minute. So it was very intense. I got an epidural at 7 centimeters. It took a good while for it to work because they said I was dilating so fast it was having a hard time keeping up.  Once I was fully dilated and ephased they made me wait to push because he was still a little high up. So I ended up waiting hours to push. When they started letting me push they realized he was sunny side up and stuck under my pubic bone. That was after 45 minutes of pushing. Then the dr flipped him and he came right out. We were very surprised to see he weighed 10 pounds even at only 39 weeks. But we are super happy and so in love with our little boy.
