Early period??

Question

Okay so I have been on birth control for a few months now and I had never missed a pill until Tuesday, so of course I doubled up on Wednesday. Now I am having cramps and it's starting to feel like my period is coming even though I'm not supposed to start for another 16 days. My periods have always been consecutive. Could my missed birth control be the cause of a early period?

Yes don't worry about it when you are late on a pill you will get break through bleeding it should only last for a few days & you should still get your period regularly😊

don't worry about it. I just got on my birth control and I start it tomorrow because my periods are so bad. my doctor gave me some warnings of the pill and if you don't take it on time then you will probably get your period at an unexpected time. this is because the pill tricks your body into thinking you're pregnant when you take it daily. but if you forget to take it then you will probably start bleeding because your body doesn't think you're pregnant anymore

I have had that happen, don't worry about it. I have had my period start when I'm a few hours late on taking the pill. Personally what I do is I just pause the birth control pills and I let my period flow and then I start back up again, however you should be OK to still take the pills.
