Co sleeping!?

Would you consider this way of co sleeping to be safe? This is the only way he will sleep

I think it's fine to sleep with baby however you are comfortable. 👍🏼

100% no. 
Unless they were in one of those little bassinet things you put in the bed, then no. Personally I don't even like that. 
Safest place is in a crib/pack and play/bassinet.  Co sleeping is very dangerous. I don't care how many people have done it with how many of their kids. 
Mattresses are too squishy, there's risk of the pillows and or blankets covering their faces and suffocating them. And holding the baby you risk dropping it.

Sometimes things happen. I napped kinda like this with my step sister once but she was 9 months old at the time.

But Co sleeping is extremely dangerous and should be avoided at all costs. I don't care how convenient it is or whatever.

I'd look into the thing that goes on the side of the bed. So you can put baby there, and still touch him so he knows your there, but he's at far less risk of suffocation that way

I slept with my daughter on my chest until she was around 3 months, maybe more, she still sleeps in bed with us and she is 2.5! Lol. I felt it was safe for my daughter at the time. She spit up so badly that if I laid her on her back it just flowed back out of her, that terrified me and I didn't want to sleep her on her belly in the bassinet because there didn't seem like enough room for her in there, so she slept on her belly on my chest. I could feel every time she moved and we were up every 2 hours to feed anyways. All i had to do was lift my shirt, rather than deal with the swaddling and everything, I found it easier
