Since when is it a negative thing to have an inducement date set up just in case?

My bf was calling some family that'll be flying into town after the birth to tell them when our baby will for sure be here. Every single one of them had to make some comment of "oh... she's going to do that?" Or "oh so she's that ready to get this over with huh?" Not a single one asked if baby and I were okay or if there was a problem. (There isn't. She's just stubborn)

Most of them have never even given birth before. I just wish people would keep their negative opinions to themselves when they know I can hear them.

I'm almost 41 weeks and already emotional and crabby. It's not like induction is my first choice but I don't want to be pregnant for another 2 or 3 weeks just because she's stubborn.
