Marriage counseling?

So please share if you comfortable but im thinking me and my huaband need marriage counseling. Has anyone ever sone it and will to share your experience. Like did it strengthen. Yr relation or make it worse did you feel connected or not...ect

I did it. It didn't work for my first husband and I. But I attribute that partially to having chosen the wrong counselor. Two sessions in and I knew I didn't like the guy, but my husband didn't seem put off by him so we kept going. By the time I insisted on finding a new counselor we were too far gone. The new person we found was amazing, and we both continued seeing her individually after the divorce. So understand you may have to change counselors a few times before you find the right fit. And my other piece of advice, which is one I didn't follow, be honest. That's what you're there for and even if you think you're going to hurt your partner, get it out there and be honest. Because if you aren't being honest, you aren't really fixing anything. Good luck to you guys!

Check your school health office or calll HR at your job they may have free sessions through employee assistance program but yeah well worth the money try going to different coubselors read five lanagues of love and secrets of happily married wives great books
