IKEA Changing Table PSA

Just wanted to share in case other people are as overwhelmed by baby stuff as I am:

If you get an IKEA changing table, they are designed to fit the IKEA inflatable (ew) changing pad. It may not be all models but it definitely applies to the Snigglar (only 26" long!)

We thought we could use a standard size pad since we didn't like inflatable but they are too long. There are a few suggestions on the Internet for workarounds (find a smaller pad and smash it in, cut a pad short, etc.) but it has been an annoying process for us fraught with returns (2 pads going back so far). On the plus side, it's a $40 table? 😃

So yeah, a little heads up just in case you were going to buy one and try to do what we're doing.
