So I tried the IUD (mirena) last year because every other option seemed second best to the IUD. When I got it -woo! It was a nightmare. It had basically expelled itself out and and for a month and a half I bled and had severe cramps. But although I had such a bad experience with the IUD, I would like to try it again. Does anybody know if the same thing is likely to happen again? Should I just choose another option such as the shot?
