Should I start taking the pill?

I've thought about starting birth control. My doctor prescribed me some because I have a cyst on my ovary. But I'm hesitant to start it due to the fact that it messes with hormones. I'm a little paranoid about stuff like that 😕 what should I do and what are your experiences

I would say to start off with the pill, simply because you take it everyday and it doesnt cause any side affects (from my experience) and if dont want to be on bc you can just stop taking the pill. If you decide any other form of birthcontrol, make sure to do more research on them before you decide, some can cause weight gain, hair loss, infertility, migraines, etc. but ofcourse everyones body is different.
