Anyone go cold turkey with bf?

Question

Any momma's out there go cold turkey when stopping breast feeding? My baby girl will be 1 in 2wks... Currently 13wks pregnant... 
Any advice for making it an easier transition on the little one? Not overly concerned about the day feedings. Mostly concerned about 1st thing in morning and bed time. My Penelope is a VERY early riser so distracting her between the hours or 430am-530am will be quite challenging..

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.. Ok go!!

Nope. And it's really not good for you to stop cold turkey. Only because you raise the risk of clogged ducts and mastitis. Cut out one feeding at a time. (You can pump for this last part of you just want to stop nursing cold turkey) just hand express or pump if you're uncomfortable but only until you're comfortable again. Don't pump out all the milk because that will signal your body to make more. I hope I'm making sense. It took about 2 weeks for me :)

We weaned down to only morning and night 2 weeks before she turned one. Then went to just night....then I stopped one day and she didn't ask for it one time...she didn't have a hard time whatsoever.
