Thinking about doing the cabbage soup diet any thoughts?

I've struggled with body image since I can remember and have tried literally everything to lose weight. I have 2 boys 10mo apart and the pregnancy with both didn't benefit in my favor. I wouldn't trade it for the world though. And in two years my husband and I are going to try again for a third but I'm wanting to get more in shape and drop some extra pounds to help jump start. Any ideas or experiences with this diet?

It's not going to help. In order to lose weight and keep it off you need to exercise and eat healthy. Other diets just get rid of water weight that ends up being gained back as soon as you stop the diet. Try following "80/20". 80% clean eating and 20% exercise. Exercise 3-4 times a week, but switch your workouts up so you don't plateau. Another way to prevent plateauing is by allowing yourself a cheat meal atleast once a month (I did once a week). Don't eat after 7 as your metabolism slows down and try to eat meals that consist of lots of fruits and veggies. Watch certain fruits as some are high in sugar and drink a lot of water. Anytime you feel hungry try drinking a glass of water, a lot of people confuse being hungry as being thirsty. Hope this helps!
