Thoughts on baby chiropractor?

Anyone use a chiropractor for their baby? If so why did you go and what were the results?

I took my babe when he was maybe 3 weeks old... He had trouble latching on one side and it hurt me sooo bad! After the light adjustment, his latch was perfect! His muscles on one side of his neck were really tight & stressed, and it effected how far he could turn his head to nurse without pain. If you trust your chiro I recommend it! She was soo gentle I didn't think it would do anything, but in my case it was a life saver.

I refuse to ever see a chiropractor, much less bring an infant.

Coming from 2 physicians I am very close to and trust: "no on should EVER touch a child's spine" ....one of them is an ER physician and has seen countless chiro patients (of all ages) come in from issues after being adjusted. Not worth it for me and my family!

My chiropractor said she does adjustments on babies all the time, but I'm new to chiroprators so I am wary of that. She also said having correct alignment in your own back can help with delivery. That if you're out of alignment it can stall labor after a certain point.

We are taking our baby soon after she is born! My husband and I both go & it seems after being in the womb for so long, babies can really get twisted up. Just so everyone knows, there is no back or neck cracking involved. Baby's bones are still so soft that it doesn't take very much pressure to adjust their little bodies. From what I've seen, the baby is being held in mom's arms the whole time!

I have heard the chiropractor works wonders for babies with fussiness, calic, digestive problems and alignments. I am thinking about taking my daughter but wanted some opinions on it first.
