Our sweet anniversary gift!

Cynthia 👨‍👩‍👧‍👧 • Mommy of 3. 💕💙
Went in Friday 7/15 for an induction, was due 7/10. I have a massive fibroid 12 cm :(
Wanted to go natural but the contractions with the pitocin were painful and I couldn't take it. Once at 4cm they gave me the epidural which didn't work 100% like I thought it would. I still felt pressure which they said it was normal.
Nurse came in and checked me I was at 6 & less than 5 minutes after I told my family I really had to poop and push it out like something was in between my legs. I called the nurse back and she said it was time to push. Everybody out! Lol
The doctor came in & 20 minutes later my baby girl was born. My OB rubbed lots of olive oil on me I didn't tear thankfully. I do have to admit the epidural was not as effective or didn't numb me as much as it did with my first which I'm glad. I felt the ring of fire as they call it and felt pushing her out.
But as soon as she came out I instantly felt better. I'm sure I didn't fee what other moms with natural births.
But I felt the adrenaline afterwards and tears came to my eyes! I felt great!! 😄 the epidural wore off and I was walking just fine. I am sore though! Second time around was a lot easier i would say.
Violett Zachary was born 7/15/16
7/17 is my husband and I anniversary!
