Menstrual cycle weirdness
So I will be 11 weeks on Wednesday. All is well, but this would typically be my time of the month. A week prior to my cycle each month (before pregnancy), my breasts are tender, and I always have intense cramping on day one and day two of my cycle.
With pregnancy, I had very tender breasts through about 7 weeks, but that has eased up. I noticed last week that they were sore again, however, and even my husband said that they seemed fuller.
Today, I had some minor cramping and checked my calendar to see that ordinarily, this would be my time of the month.
So that long story was really to get to this one question... Do any of you experience light menstrual symptoms during your pregnancy? My mom told me that she can still tell when it would be her time of he month though she is post-menopausal because she can feel the hormone surges and minor cramps. I'm wondering if the same can be true for during pregnancy.
I haven't had any bleeding or spotting, so I'm not necessarily worried...just curious. I have an appointment with my doctor on Wednesday for a regular check up, so I'm going to ask her about it...but I wanted to hear if anyone else has the same thing going on!
