Retrieval Delayed!!!
I was supposed to have my retrieval on July 20th but today my doctor told me he wants me to continue my injections till my third ultrasound on Tuesday then he will tell me when the retrieval will be. So I have 4 eggs on each side of my ovaries. Not the number I was hoping for since I'm only 29 yo but 8 eggs is better than none!! However, my doctor said the size of my eggs is lower than he wants it to be. My biggest size is 14 and the rest are 12 and 13 and at 9 days of doing injections it should be bigger. So of course he increased my dosage. I swear every obstacle has been thrown my way and my dh wants me to be positive but I couldn't help but cry today 😭 I pray that by my next ultrasound my numbers go up and my eggs that are retrieved mature into beautiful embryos and make it to day 5. My doctor also told me he wants to not do a 5 day transfer and do a frozen one so my body rests. It's going to be hard to wait but whatever gets me pregnant I'm willing to do 🙏🏻 anyone else going through this? I need some positive energy ladies.
