Stopping the pill

So basically I stopped taking microgynon in March, and had my normal withdrawal bleed at the end of that pack, but I've not had a period since :s should I go back to the doctors or should I wait a bit longer? Not a fan of the doctors so if anyone could tell me what they would do it'd be appreciated :)

(Ps, I'm 21 and have been taking the pill for nearly 9 years)
