Asking for a c-sec when in labour?
ASKING FOR A C-SECTION WHILST IN LABOUR...
Right, before you all judge me and deem me 'too posh to push' đ this is my second baby. With my first I had a 4th degree tear with haemorrhage and suffer with some incontinence issues now (wind and poop). I have been advised and recommended for a c-section but this is not what I want if it can be avoided. I don't need any lectures but I've decided to try a home birth.
Anyway, my question!! The midwife has told me to write my birth plan but to get my consultant to add into it that if I end up going to the hospital in labour, panicking, scared and asking for a c-section then no questions should be asked and I should just be given one. Has anyone else been in this situation and were you taken seriously? Thanks X
