Out of curiosity how many woman out there were molested as a child?

There is not enough talk about this! I'm mainly just throwing this out there as I was reading a post that my response made me bring this up... parents please open ur eyes and don't be naive I was molested by my own cousin!!! And as I share my story with others it has opened my eyes that this actually happens to more people then you would think! I makes me sick and I will never forget what that sick bas**** did to me from time I was 3 "when I started remembering" to when I was 11 or 12 I finally said this is not right and walked away I was scared as a child I would get in trouble I didn't tell my mom until I was 16!!! There is a special place for ppl that do this to our sweet innocent Children and it's called hell!!!!

I was 13 when i was sexually/emotionally and physically abused by someone who was 21. Id only just turned 13 and i was groomed. I thought it was normal and 'grown up' to be talking to someone older. Until the abuse started. I see girls on here who are under age and like 'my bf is 20 etc we are ttc cant wait' it scares me how many girls are being molested/abused/groomed and dont even know it

I was when i was 12 and my moms husbands nephew he was 16 .. he took advantage of me sexually im not proud to say i lost my virginity to this guy .. i told my mother she never believe me and i told my dad who lived like 30 or 40 min away he was 50 and 50 .. until one day my dad took me out to eat and he started to follow us and yell she mine old man .. my dad yell that my daughter dont come near her if you do i make sure you die.. thankfully a cop stop by and my father told the cop their was someone following and he was afraid for ourlives and the cop stop him and then cops told to leave.. my dad did believe me. I was depress not eating and not realizing what happend i tried to do justice but cops believed him more than me.. he a good manipulator. Yrs later when my husband and I had a year of being together we went to a party and he was there and i told i want to leave  im going to bathroom and i got out he was telling my husband you know she was mine 1st and she will always be mine .. i got angry and said im not yours and never been yours .. you took advantage of me i was 12 and your 16.. i said one day you will pay for what you did.. so much you cant keep in his pants he will have a wife that will treat him bad and make him cry .. said and done he has wife for all i know she making him for everything he did.. Karma at its best and gods answered my prayers ..

Ps for all the mothers that little girls believe them just because your in new realtionship or marriage never doubt of your daughters or sons..

My father when I was two. He got away with it because the people prosecuting the case felt a two year old couldn't get on the stand and talk about it so they dropped the case. Even though there was physical evidence and I was able to talk about it. I still remember the examination and how it felt. I was two and the whole thing traumatized me. I spent the next 24years dealing with it I've now only just accepted that I am a survivor and what he did doesn't define me as a person. I struggle sometimes but I have a strong husband that I've been with almost 11years that makes me a stronger person that loves me through my ups and downs:)

I wasn't molested in the sense of being touched but my grandfather (my stepdads dad) never considered me his grandchild. And he used to make me take pictures in order to be included in things that my cousins got to do. I was only a kid I didn't know any better and I so wanted to do all the cool stuff my cousins did. (My grandparents are millionaires so grandkids were spoiled) now I look back and feel so stupid for doing that but I know that I truly didn't know any better at the time. My best friend though, her dad molested her and one of her sisters and her brother and also made his own child porn. The only sibling he didn't touch was the one that wasn't biologically his. He's now serving multiple sentences and will probably be locked up for the rest of his life. My poor friend is very screwed up in the head from it. I can't even imagine that type of thing happening.

I don't want to vote just in case someone who knows me will somehow read it. But I have experience in this area from when I was little and I only a few close friends know about it. It is scarily common I agree and I am definitely still affected by it.

Not to me personally, my mums father did to her from the age of 3 until she was a teenager and left home. He was a disgusting monster.

I never have been personally but I know a good handful of people who have and it breaks my heart. I can only imagine the hurt you feel from what a selfish thing someone else did to you. I admire all of you who have been victims and how you face your fears head on. I'm sorry someone violated you, but I have so much respect for you and I look up to you.

I wasn't because I was blessed to always have someone to protect me. I have the best older brothers on the planet! They always watched over me and most people knew not to mess with me. If I wasn't with them I was with a very watchful aunt that looked out for me. My brothers were both molested by different cousins :-(. I didn't know until they were 30 years old (identical twins). I hear a lot of tragic stories that break my heart. I am so thankful that I always had someone protecting me. I think I am very fragile and something like that may have destroyed me.

It destroys you in a way that you can never get over. I sometimes wonder who I might have been if my innocence wasn't stolen if trust was something I had learned. People think it doesn't change you but I think it does. I'm not a bad person but I know I'm damaged.
