shitty appointment with radiology diagnostics for her 8 wk ultrasound. The scan took place Friday, the tech didn't alllow her or her husband to see the monitor. She didn't say anything about the baby at all. When they asked questions she just said she didn't have answers. Well, at the end of the appointment my sister's husband asked if the baby was ok... The tech slammed the monitor shut and said, "You'll discuss the results with your doctor on Monday".

She left them in limbo all weekend!!

My sister just saw her doc today and the doc confirmed she has miscarried ): Even the doc was confused because (on Friday she was 8 wks 3 days) at 5 wks she had gone to the ER for mild brown-tinged spotting. A scan was done and the baby was fine, they allowed them to see the little cutie and they sent her home with meds for a UTI and a light duty note. The baby must have been lost between then and Friday, but the spotting had stopped and was never red or accompanied by cramping, so she doesn't understand why. Her doctor said (today) she now needs Hcg labs drawn over the next 30 days to see if they deplete. He also apologized for the tech at the radiology clinic because he said he didn't understand why they would send her away all weekend with no answers. Apparently someone in their clinic should have pulled her aside and explained what happened. Her doctor also said he will help her file a formal complaint with their facilities.

I just can't believe this! My sister has tried for I think 2 years and she is absolutely crushed.

When I miscarried (in CA, same town my sister gets care), I remember the tech showing me that all fetal tissue had been expelled, my uterus was empty and she explained the white edges were nutrients that would expel over the next few weeks or I could get D&C (which I opted for so I could go back to work without the cramping and blood).

I just don't understand!! Today has been a ROTTEN day. I woke up to go to work, wiped after peeing and there was weird mucous with bright red blood. I yelled for my husband, I was certain it was my bloody show because I contracted all night. I went to L&D and they sent me home after 2 hrs. I thought I was gonna have my baby today, and now my sister lost hers. I'm in a REAL shit mood!! 😔😟😢
