Asking your SO what they don't like about you?

Is it a good idea to ask your SO what they dislike about you? Maybe out of curiosity?

I guess it depends if it is constructive criticism or nitpicking and if your strong enough to handle it.

I am always asking my SO for ways that I can improve on the relationship and he does the same to me. It keeps the communication going and things rarely build up anymore and we don't have big arguments as often as we did. It really depends though. I don't feel that it's fair for a guy / girl to say he or she dislikes something about you that you cannot change ( ex. Weight, skin color, certain preferences ) . Things like that really aren't a big deal in the long run. But yes, I think it's beneficial for the relationship if you ask eachother and give eachother feedback on what they like and dislike.
