Late on period but also late ovulation ????

Question

I ovulated last Tuesday and had unprotected sex 2 days befor and on that day. I was due on my period Saturday when would a pregnancy test show posative if I was pregnant ? Do I have to be so many days past ovulation. ? Please help going out of my mind 😢

From what I'm learning our bodies are soooo different that their isn't a simple answer to the question of when to take a pregnancy test. I know that research says to wait until after first day of missed period but their are ppl that can test early and get positive results and then their are those that test early and don't see positive results until weeks later 😕  Hope I'm not sounding confusing but I truly pray the best for you. If you ovulated last Tuesday that would make you 7 DPO today. We expected in approximately 7 days from now and you could possibly get a positive HPT in about 3 days at 10 DPO hope that makes sense and you are correct in your title if you ovulate later your period will come later. For example if you were to ovulate on day you would have a 28-day cycle I ovulate late as well not until cycle day 21 so I have a 35 day cycle so with this pregnancy I got my bfp 9dpo cycle day 30 for me.
