Would you recommend these for first time users?

I'm still not sure what radiant means. But I'm going to try these out if you girls recommend these for first time users. It's either this or the cardboard ones. I'm 13 btw. Also I've tried cardboard ones and that hurt like a mother fu*ker even though it didn't go in all the way. And these are regular. So I'm wondering if it's good for my next period when my flow is heavy so it won't be to dry when it comes out. But thank you for your time and also thank you if you responded.💓
