Free makeup samples?

Has anyone ever actually gotten free makeup samples from signing up for them? I've done so many surveys and other stuff but it all just seems to be scams. I just want to try new stuff for fun or before I actually go out and buy it. So does anyone know of a sight that will send samples for free ??

The only time I get samples is when I buy things online from Sephora or Ulta and if you spend a certain amount they add samples to your bag...
