Tampons?

Hey girls! I use pads and not tampons and I know there's woman that prefer tampons over pads. I personally feel like there's alot of cons with tampons, like infections. But anybody with pros or cons about tampons can comment! :)

Pros: 
- they don't feel like diapers
- shows no pad when wearing fitted pants, or leggings
- it collects blood inside 
- you can swim with them in 
- compact, so they can fit in purses and pockets of backpacks

Cons :
- it leaks at times
- if not changed within 4-8 hours can cause TSS
- can be uncomfortable if not inserted securely

* From my personal experiences, I like tampons better than pads because they don't feel like diapers.

I like tampons when I'm out and about like at work (I'm an LNA) I'm running around for 7.5 hours and wearing just a pad bothers me. But if I'm just at home relaxing I'll where just a pad.  Tampons are life savors sometimes!

I love tampons because I feel cleaner. It tells me when it's full and also cause I get a rash from the pads 😓 I only use the tampon when it's my first day cause it's so heavy the second day a thin pad and the last 3 days I just wear panty liners! 🙆🏻 I like how it has worked out. I've always been a tampon user. BUT now that I have a "mommy bladder", I pee constantly and it's just easier and cheaper for me to wear pads. I'd change my tampon almost every time I'd pee.

I've used tampons exclusively for 8 years and have never had an infection. TSS is rare. Most women know not to leave the same tampon in for days. They're better than pads which feel like a diaper and you're basically just sitting in a pool of your own blood. And then it's all in your butt crack and all that. No thanks.

I use tampons and have never had a problem. When used correctly, tampons really don't cause infections that often. You just have to remember to change it as often as you need to. They're great because I hated feeling like I was peeing my pants while wearing a pad.

I've been using tampons like 7 years and never had a problem bc of them and they are cleaner. You don't have to go and clean all the blood off yourself after using them like you would a pad. So I prefer tampons 😁
