My little Vincent James was born today
My little Vincent James was born today! One day before my 29th birthday. 
He arrived at 3:49pm

20.5"
9/9 on APGAR
My original due date (by last period) was July 29th, so he was 38 weeks 5 days. He had been measuring in the 97th percentile and I had extra fluid, starting at my 30 week growth scan. We decided inducing would be a good choice. At my last sonogram at 37 weeks, he had dropped to 87th percentile and fluid was looking better but we decided to keep the induction scheduled. Below is my straight to the point timeline...
Arrived to hospital at 5
Started pitocin at 6:20
8:35 water broke
11:45 epidural
12:30 catheter - 5 cm 90% effaced
1:30 6-7 cm, 90%
2:15 - 8-8.5 cm
3:15 ready to go! started pushing
3:49 baby boy is here!

Thanks for reading my story (or just looking at the pictures!) I have thoroughly enjoyed going through this pregnancy with this community. From trading early pregnancy symptoms to reading others birthing stories (and feeling like our day would NEVER arrive) ... It's been wonderful.
