Help? 21 weeks prego with head rush/pressure, rapid heart rate and hot flash.

I'm 21 weeks pregnant and have been experiencing a head rush, rapid heart beat and hot flash. It happens usually at night before bed when I'm just laying down. It goes away pretty quickly but it has me worried. It seems to come and go. I had it the past two nights. I thought for awhile I was just having anxiety but this seems different. Any body experience this? I'm gonna be calling my midwife tomorrow about this.

You could be anemic. I was having the same feeling turns out I'm low in iron.

I had that intermittently for about a week and then it went away. Just try and stay cool and stand up slowly. I also did a lot of swimming and yoga which helped

How are you laying? Baby might be pressing against a large vein.

I had the rapid heart beat pretty bad lying down too, which is scary. I'd ask your midwife and try the gentle stretches. Good luck!

Went to the doctor. Had blood work to check my thyroid, anemia and my vitamin D levels. Get results tomorrow. Thank you ladies for your comments and experiences.
