Another baby shower?

I'm pregnant with my second child now. My first will be 5 this week! 😭🙃 people keep asking me if I'm having a shower... I always say "no, this is my second baby!" I get mixed reactions to this. If your having your second baby are you having another shower?

I think it's perfectly fine to have another shower. It's been 5 years since your older child was born.. Tons of new products are out and you may not have saved stuff from before.

Maybe it's just me but I don't think I would, I just wouldn't feel right. But 5 years things have changed so maybe throw like a baby celebration BBQ type of thing for people to celebrate but not feel full obligation of a big gift?

If it's a different gender I know some people who do. Most people I know haven't had showers other than first baby though. 
It's really whatever you want to do though. Maybe they just want to spend more time with you and that's why they're asking?

We are going to have 1 it's our first together but our 3rd in total. My sister in law had a shower for both her boys. I think it really depends on the person or the couple. If you don't want one don't have it. Especially if you saved everything from your first.

My daughter is 3, plus we are having a boy. Also about a month before I found out I am pregnant I took all my baby stuff to a thrift store. We only have the high chair and crib, literally have nothing else for him. So my hubby and I decided to have a baby shower for our little man.

I'm having a second one... My daughter is turning 9 so we have absolutely nothing plus its a boy. I think if your kids are a good age apart its fine
