Intrusive in laws - help please!
Can someone please give me advice? I'm pregnant with our first baby but haven't been able to enjoy it as much because my in-laws are constantly staying with us... My husband's parents come visit us from out of town every 6-8 weeks, and they stay for around 3 weeks each time. They're here now, and last night we celebrated our 1 year wedding anniversary...with them. I'm almost 6 months pregnant and I feel like my time with just me and hubby is running out, and I don't want my in laws around all the time. I know they love us and have good intentions, but they're driving me crazy. I can't relax in my own home. I told him to ask them to plan shorter visits, so he's going to talk to them, but I know I'm going to get a lot of grief and guilt for this. How can I establish reasonable boundaries without becoming the bad guy? What's fair here? Please please help!!!!
