At 37+6 days I woke up to a little gush of fluid at 9 in the morning. As soon as I moved to get out of bed even more came out. I got up as my water just kept coming out as I walked down the hallway. I told my mom my water had broke and then I started getting dressed to go to the hospital. I called my fiancé and picked him up on our way to the hospital. When I got to the hospital I was 3cm and 70% effaced. They called my doctor and immediately started me on pitocin. I was in labor for 16 hours. At 1:35 am on July 15th it was time to push and I had my baby boy Maverick at 2:08. I'm beyond blessed to have such an amazing little boy. The hardest thing has been the recovery because I have a second degree tear inside my vagina and my perineum. It was all worth it for my baby boy.♡
