Success on Femara

So my so and I are about to start round 2 of femara. I did days 3-7 of 2.5 twice a day and it worked out for us. I had great follicles and did a trigger shot as well but didn't get pregnant. My doctor said that most people who use it it takes the second or third time to get a bfp..is it true? And also comments appreciated please and thank u!
