Two weeks I found out I had had a missed miscarriage. I thought I was 11 weeks but things had stopped progressing around 6 weeks. I later miscarried at home. I was told by my midwife to do a pregnancy test in two weeks time to ensure all tissue had passed. I did a test this morning and got a positive result. Called my midwife and she didn't seem overally concerned and told me to either re-test in a couple more days; or call my GP and ask them to take bloods to monitor hcg levels.Still awaiting a call back from my doctors surgery and probably want have one till the morning. Just wondering what other people's experience has been.  Is this normal? Do hcg hormones take more than two weeks to settle? I'm anxious that I might develop an infection. Bleeding stopped 7 days ago, although since then I've experienced brown discharge.
