Vaginal problems?

So for about four years now, I've had a strong odor from my vagina and sometimes changes. There's also always discharge and white stuff actually around my vagina. Any suggestions of what's wrong and how to fix it?

White or clear discharge is normal and the amount can fluctuate. Sometimes, when you're close to getting your period, there will be more. If there's a lot of discharge and it's discolored, you may want to be tested for STIs (if you're sexually active). Other than that, certain foods can affect smell and there are extra things you can do during the summer to prevent odor when it's especially warm. I like to use feminine spray on my underwear in the morning and I keep a feminine wipe or two in my purse so I can refresh on days it's particularly warm. Hope this helps!

Wait...are you putting soap in your vagina? If so stop. The only thing you need is waster up there. Around the labia is fine but don't put soap up there. Let warm water from the shower hit that thing for about 3 minutes per shower and sleep with no undies unless you're on your period and you should be ok. If not go to a doctor and see what has your pH off balance.
