First app for Ivf today!

Hi ladies , so I had my first consultation today for Ivf and all went quite well had bloods, and internal scan etc , disscused best options with the specialist , I can have iui and see hw that goes if no success I can then go on to ivf ? Just don't no what to do to go straight for I feel or try iui first ? Any won been though this what did you do . I can't have no treatment yet until 3 months as I am quitting smoking so need to be smoke free until October . What eould you do ladies ?
