OK SO out of no where my belly button was kinda crusty yesterday and today it is enflamed, kinda moist and crusty and idk what's wrong?? Any suggestions?

Clean it really well with soap and water. And then put neosporin on it. It looks like it may be a little infected which could be from a bunch of different things. Clean it everyday but no peroxide because it kills the healthy tissue after the first wash!

I have the same issue occasionally. It's like a yeast/ bacteria infection. When it happens, I clean mine with alcohol then use either neosporin or an anti fungal cream.

Thanks everyone! I do clean it in the shower, but this has never happened! I do work at a place filled with bounce houses that kids play in so I wonder if I could have somehow gotten the bacteria from cleaning equipment. Anyhow I'll clean it thoroughly when I'm home and see what happens!
