My TTC Story
Me and Fiancé are trying for first baby. Cycle two. We have been actually secretly trying for longer than that, but due to us being in college i was on BC. Even though I'd not take pills here and there to try to conceive with fiancés permission of course. So why I was even on BC I don't know. Lol. But I stopped BC completely (about 2-3 months ago) because I developed a pulmonary embolism. So we've been trying ever since. (About a year off and on)
I wanted a baby so bad. Last month I planned vigorously. I brought and used OPK's and PT's. I charted BBT everyday, had sex every day during fertility window and everything. Went to Catholic Church early morning to pray and bless my womb. Got a positive PT for one but come to find out that was just an EVAP line.
Was every disappointed when I received another negative PT 10-11DPO. Crazy to believe but after all that trying I was ready to give up after one cycle. I CAN SEE WHY WOMEN SAY THEY ARE READY TO GIVE UP AFTER YEARS OF TRYING!!
But fiancé and I had a long talk and he gave me lots of hope when he said he really wanted me to be the mother of his first child because God brought us together. We both been through a lot in life. Both made a lot of mistakes as younger kids. I am only 20, but sometimes I think those mistakes I made as a teen cost me my fertility. He is 26. But we are both ready and willing to give our child the world. Hopefully God chooses us to be the parents of a beautiful boy or girl in the near future. I've been in school for what seems like forever. And with college and work and bills and tuition, sometimes I feel like giving up. But I think of my child and the type of parents I never had. The role models I never had and that keeps me pushing because I never want to see my child go through life like I did.
I plan to go to OBGYN for preconception appointment and to see if there's anything I can do to boost chances. And test me out to see if anything is up. Good luck to everyone. I shared my Story! Hope it helps someone!
