Spotting before ovulation. Normal?

Hi there I've never spotted before but my cycle has been so out of whack the last few months. This last period I got 8 days late. I'm suppose to ovulate tomorrow but I am spotting today. What does that mean? I have not had sex this month and am not on birth control. Also I am 21.

That is very rare in woman and it means you have a great indication of fertility. Although it sounds gross you need to have sex then.

Have you done a pregnancy test? Could be a tiny blood vessel in your cervix popped and caused a tiny bit of spotting. But otherwise just check with a home pregnancy test just in case? Was your last period light?
