Very painful and heavy cycles

My husband and I have been trying to conceive for 10 months now...Really longer. Before we didn't really plan but we just knew it would happen again after our first son...Fast forward 9 years later I have yet to become prego. So these past few months I have tracked,charted and everything else. Now I am becoming nervous. I have started having these super heavy periods and large clots...TMI BUT I GO THROUGH AROUND 3 OR MORE OVER NIGHT PADS IN AN HOUR. I JUST GAVE UP ON TAMPONS BECAUSE MY CYCLE HAS BECOME SO HEAVY THAT THEY JUST SLIDE OUT...THE CLOTS ARE BIGGER THAN HALF DOLLAR AND THE CRAMPS ARE SO PAINFUL THAT SOMETIME I CANT GET OUT OF BED...AND IF I COUGH IM SURE TO NEED A CHANGE OF CLOTHS...I have an dr appt. Im just nervous and wondering has anyone had this happen. And what was the outcome. Im so scared to see this dr and she gives me bad news...😢
